Our Mission
Our mission as a Foundation is to support the members of the agency and the Park County community by raising money through community partners and fundraising.
Projects funded by the foundation will be those that are not covered by the annual approved county budget, but deemed important by the Foundation and Park County Sheriff’s Office organization.
Funding
The Foundation utilizes the generous contributions of our fellow citizens and funding partners to enhance the Park County Sheriff’s Office in four vital areas:
Public Safety Improvements: Initiatives which address specific public safety needs, improve police effectiveness, and office safety through the use of cutting edge and specialized equipment, evolving technology, and other innovations.
Community Partnerships: Initiatives which enhance the relationship between the community and the Park County Sheriff’s Office.
Employee Development: Programs designed to provide improved training and development opportunities to officers, educational assistance, and employee recognition efforts.
Scholarships: Funding provided will allow foundation to create a program to distribute scholarships to local young men and women continuing their education.
Funding provided through the Foundation supports dozens of initiatives in these critical needed areas each year; to fund new or existing programs with the goal of facilitating innovative solutions to the increasingly complex and underfunded problems confronted by law enforcement.
